we have just arrived in south africa and it is great to be here. playing the world cup in south africa is a great advantage for us. while it may not be on are home turf, its the clostest thing to is. We are also used to the weather and humidity, so we have a huge advantage over the other teams. Ghana was orginaly one eruopean colonie, called the gold coast. It was the first african country to become independent from the colonies. the polations chose the name from a tribe from the past. the national languag in ghana is english, probaly because of its former rule by the colonies. South Africa is the only state ever to be named after its geological location. there are many resourses in south africa, and this causes many native tribes to fight. south Africa arent much differnt, they shar alot of comment facts. like they were both ruled by a british colony at one time. also they both seem vary close when it comes to folk culture, while both have there own type, they both seem to have the same general idea.

I think that we will definately have a little bit of home field advantage due to the climate. I also find it very interesting about the tribal fights due to the resources.

ReplyDeletefirst of all, nice sppeling, but i think that the climate, and ethnic simalarities, and the didtance between the 2 countries is a great advantage to us, but there are still a lot of very good teams that are competing that we need to worry about.
